ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us for what will become a historic event never before seen in Central Florida – an open water 10K swim.  Open water swimming was approved by the International Olympic Committee to be an Olympic event in 2005 and officially made it’s debute at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.  This is the perfect opportunity for high school, college and club swimmers to take their fitness to a new level, while at the same time giving triathletes another opportunity to shine.  The venue is by far the premier location in Central Florida, Baldwin Park, located in the center of Orlando.

CATEGORIES
Age groups – 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

AWARDS          
10K – Top 3 overall men and women.  Top 3 age group men and women.
5K – Top 3 overall men and women.  Top 3 age group men and women.
1 Mile – Top 3 overall men and women.  Top 3 age group men and women.

ENTRY FEES
10K - $35 until 3/29, $40 until 4/2, $45 after 4/2
5K - $30 until 3/29, $35 until 4/2, $40 after 4/2
1 Mile - $25 until 3/29, $30 until 4/2, $35 after 4/2

From Tampa or Daytona
I-4 to Colonial drive (HWY 50), East to Bennett drive, North on Bennett to New Broad, dead ends at Jake.  From Miami
Florida Turnpike to I-4 to Colonial drive (HWY 50), East to Bennett drive, North on Bennett to New Broad, dead ends at Jake. 
From Gainesville
I-75 to Florida Turnpike to 408 (East West Expressway) to I-4 to Colonial drive (HWY 50), East to Bennett drive, North on Bennett to New Broad, dead ends at Jake. 
From Melbourne
