9:00 a.m. – Kids Fun Run & Crafts (under 10 only)

Funds raised through this community event will help ‘open doors’ for students through scholarships and other assistance.

ENTRY FEES (non-refundable)

• 5K - $20, $25 after midnight 1/30/08, $30 on race day
• Valencia student discount - $15 (with valid student ID)
• Valencia Alumni Association Member discount - $18
• Phantom Racer – $10 (can’t attend and/or want to show your support)
• Valencia Wellness Program - $18

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

• 01/27/08, at midnight is the deadline to guarantee a tshirt.
• 01/30/08, at midnight online registration closes. Note: You may use American Express, Visa and Master Card however, Active.com charges a $3 processing fee for the use of this convenience.
• 02/01/08, at noon is the deadline for mail in registrations: Send entry form with check made payable to Valencia Alumni Association and mail to: Valencia Alumni Association, 701 N Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL 32825
• 02/01/08, at noon is the deadline for walk in registrations: Valencia East Campus Bldg 6-101B - 701 N Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL 32825
• 02/02/08, from 11 am to 2 pm at Health Sciences Building  on Valencia’s West Campus (Room 105)
• Race day, from 6:45 am to 7:30 am cash, check or money order only.

PACKET PICK UP
Participants can pick up packets at the Health Sciences Building  on Valencia’s West Campus (Room 105) on Friday Feb 1 from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. & on Saturday Feb 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

AWARDS
Top 3 overall men and women receive fantastic commemorative awards. In addition the top 3 men and top 3 women in each category receive awards: Military (Must present retired or active military ID), Valencia Alumni, Valencia Student, Wheel Chair and Age Groups (11-14, 15-19, 20-24…,85+)

KIDS FUN RUN & CRAFTS
(FREE, 10 and under) Register the day of race (everyone receives a first place ribbon)

TIMING & SCORING
This event is timed with the AMB timing transponder as seen in the Tour de France. Failure to return the transponder after the event will result in a $100 fine. For race related questions please call 888-281-0533 or email support@buttar.com

• The course is a 5K (3.1 mile) loop through Valencia’s West Campus.
• Entries with strollers are welcome, they will be placed behind the runners.
• Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please contact Valencia Alumni Relations office at 407-582-2946
• Register by 1/27/08 to guarantee a commemorative Valencia 5K t-shirt. T-Shirts are not guaranteed on race day.
• Field limit is 300 athletes.
