ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us for what is sure to become a Florida triathlon tradition in years to come. Imagine…camping with a group of friends and family under oaks trees, bonfires, two days of triathlons, duathlons and aquabike, friends, camaraderie – all of this 30 minutes away from Universal Studios, Disney and Sea World!!

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Swim in beautiful, clean and clear Lake Mary Jane, at this time of year wetsuits will most likely be allowed. Bike on flat, newly paved roads on a new course! This venue is known for its run, flat with 100% shade cover through cool over hanging trees which is also a brand new course!

LOCATION, DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Moss Park is located in southeast Orlando, near the Orlando International Airport.  12901 Moss Park Rd., Orlando, FL  32832.  Take the Narcoosee rd. exit from 417 and go north.  Take a right at the new Publix and follow Moss Park Rd. until it dead ends at Moss Park.  Follow the signs to parking.

Camping is available at Moss Park – contact (407) 273-2327 no earlier than February 1, 2007 to make reservations.  Reservations must be made in person.

PACKET PICKUP
Friday between noon and 6:00 pm at

  • AMB system timing (as used in the Olympics and the Tour de France)

  • All athletes (except MyFirst Wildman) must present proof of USAT membership or buy a 1 day membership

  • Entry is limited to the first 400 athletes each day

  • Water temp is typically 74 degrees F - wetsuits are allowed at that temperature

8:00 am - Sprint Aquabike - .75 km swim, 20 km bike
8:00 am - Sprint Duathlon - 2.75 mile run, 20 km bike, 2.75 mile run
8:00 am - Sprint Triathlon - .75 km swim, 20 km bike, 2.75 mile run
9:30 am - MyFirst Triathlon - .4 km swim, 20 km bike, 2.75 mile run

DIVISIONS
Age Group – Males and females in the following age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, …, 80+
Military – Active or retired military personnel – must show military ID at check in
Clydesdale – Men weighing 200 pounds or more as weighed at check in
Athena – Ladies weighing 140 pounds or more as weighed at check in
Relay – 3 person teams - Coed, Male and Female for Sprint & Olympic triathlons only

ENTRY FEES
Sprint Events: $50 until Midnight March 11 - $60 Until Midnight March 15 - $70 during race weekend
Sprint Tri Relay: $95 until Midnight March 11 - $105 Until Midnight March 15 - $115 during race weekend
MyFirst Triathlon: $60 until Midnight March 11 - $70 Until Midnight March 15 - $80 during race weekend

9:15 am: MyFirst tri pre-race meeting at the beach
9:30 am: MyFirst tri start
10:45 am: Award ceremony
